Kosen Productions are ready with their brand new release, the amazing sounds of Mastermind/Credence by Nouwa. The producer, who specialises in a range of bass music styles has released on many different labels, such as Breed 12 Inches,Obsession, You So Fat Records, Mindtech, Overtech, and more, and now reaches the mighty Kosen imprint. The label continue their assault on your ears, following in the wake of the hits they’ve been responsible for to date.

Nouwa’s offerings have been supported by all the right people - Noisia, Chris Renegade, Jade, Black Sun Empire, Task Horizon, Insideinfo...we could go on, but you get the idea. After finishing off last year with the huge Kraken EP, his music, inspired by The Prodigy, Daft Punk, Aphex Twin, The Chemical Brothers and more looks set to smash 2016 in the same way.

Mastermind creeps out of a weird vocal sample, burrowing its way into your brain and wrecking all of your systems. Odd effects fill out the mix, with wailing vocals and stirring beats fluttering in and out. Things break down for a minute, before gunshots signify the tune ramping back up into full release. There are elements of hip hop and techno in Nouwa’s technique, all the while ramming home his message of complete annihilation. The drums are expertly delivered, and the bass is warm and fat.
